CableCares - Washington, DC

The 2009 CableCares community service initiative raised more than $155,000 in cash, equipment, books and in-kind donations to help improve Washington, DC schools and assist local charities during The Cable Show '09. By leveraging the resources of the cable broadband industry and teaming up with City Year - a national community service program for young people – CableCares was able to make a lasting difference for the great city of Washington, DC. A special thanks to our volunteers, partners, sponsors and supporters for showing our nation’s capital that cable really does care.
