Cable Positive's Volunteerism Initiative

Cable Positive returned to The Cable Show to help fill the gap in service at two well deserving agencies, Metro TeenAIDS and Food & Friends. At the youth, community health organization, Metro TeenAIDS, volunteers helped with the reconstruction of the youth’s drop-in space and lend administrative support to the over taxed staff. Cable Positive’s Baltimore/Washington D.C. Chapter generously donated new furniture to the organization.

Volunteers also helped prepare, package and deliver meals at Food & Friends, a non-profit kitchen and pantry service for 1,400 homebound patients suffering from life threatening illnesses in the Washington Metropolitan area.
